Stamford Stone were so proud to be supporting Ben Corah at BBC Gardeners World Live this year. We were even more elated when we discovered that Ben had won a gold medal for his display at the show which was held at the NEC in Birmingham. It was a real honour to be part of it. Read on to find out how we are celebrating Ben’s achievement with you.
Ben used our English stone in his amazing design which fused together a beautiful display of flowers and plants with the bold statement made by the stone we supplied. The stone was provided in large cubes making it quite a contrast to the softer elements of the design, it was simple, and truly breath-taking. Proof that using stone in garden landscaping works well.
BBC Gardeners World Live brings together gardening enthusiasts of all levels and ages. From the experts on the event’s panel to professional gardeners and amateurs looking for inspiration and ideas, the show has something for everyone. It’s no wonder that it’s so popular. That’s why we were more than happy to help Ben when he approached us about using some of our popular stone work as part of his design. To play such an important role was an honour in itself, but to be part of a gold medal winning display was the icing on the cake.
