As a local family business, we are keen to make a difference in own community, over the past 19 years we have been actively involved in supporting sporting clubs like Stamford AFC, training initiatives at local colleges, and donations to local causes such as the WW1 memorial stone at RAF Digby earlier this year. Keen to form lasting relationships with a local charity, this year we have chosen Anna’s Hope.

Director Laura Green, who has recently joined the fundraising committee at Anna’s Hope, explains why:

“You can’t help but be touched by the work that they do. From open air concerts and fun runs to picnics and curry evenings, we’re delighted to offer our support to such an active local charity that make an incredible difference to the lives of children and young people with brain tumours.”

Inspired by Anna Olivia Hughes, who tragically died from a brain tumour aged only 3 years and 8 months, the charity was set up by her parents and her five godparents in October 2006. Since then Anna’s Hope have been working closely with Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge (the regional hospital for Children and young people with brain tumours) helping them reach their full potential. The charity provides specialist nursing support and rehabilitation to children and young people in Lincolnshire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire, East Anglia and Suffolk who are diagnosed with a brain tumour.

This summer in support of Annas Hope, we are donating £1 per every m2 of flooring and external paving sold in June and July to the charity.
