Production Operative – Walling line

We are looking for a full-time production operator to work in our walling line team at our manufacturing plant in Helpston near Stamford.


Main duties:

Assisting in the production of Walling Stone

Checking standards and quality control

Operating forklifts

Wrapping and labelling orders for dispatch

Stockpiling finished products in safe and orderly manner.


About you:

  • Experience of working in production for a manufacturing company is an advantage, as is holding a forklift licence.
  • A background in stone masonry is not necessary, as full training will be provided.

You will need to have:

  • Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality
  • The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with the rest of your team and managers.
  • Working hours are usually 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday, however, some flexibility may be required and extended hours may sometimes be necessary to meet deadlines.

Saw Operator

We are looking for a full-time sawyer to work at our stone masonry manufacturing plant in Helpston near Stamford.


Main Duties

  • Operating masonry saws
  • Checking standards and quality control of block and finished stone
  • Operating forklifts
  • Liaising with Production Manager about cutting lists
  • Liaising with CNC Operators and Stonemasons on worked stone projects.

About You

  • Experience of working in production is an advantage, as is holding a forklift licence.
  • A background in stone masonry is not necessary, as full training will be provided.

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

We are looking for a full-time maintenance engineer with electrical bias (17th edition) to undertake scheduled and breakdown maintenance of plant and equipment at our stone production yard and quarries in the Stamford area.


Main Duties:

  • Undertake mechanical repairs as and when required
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Diagnosing faults
  • Repairing equipment
  • Supervising engineering and technical staff
  • Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Creating maintenance procedures
  • Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
  • Keep accurate completion records.

About You:

  • A background in electrical / mechanical engineering is essential.

You will need to have:

  • Electrical Bias (17th edition) essential
  • Good knowledge of PLC systems
  • Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality
  • The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team and managers.
  • The role could be full or part time, though some flexibility may be required and extended hours may sometimes be necessary to meet deadlines.
